A few years ago I swapped up a balky Nakamichi LX-3 for a ZX-7. It's got
three heads, all the calibration bells/whistles including azimuth adjustment,
and might be had for less than a Dragon. It's performed superbly with
Maxell XL-II (for recording; it plays back everything well). Hope this helps.
