I always wondered what happened to all the Auricons when TV
stations switched over to ENG in the late 70s/early 80s.  I
was hoping to pick one up "cheap," but they never seemed to
make it onto the used market.  I ended up staying silent with
a Bolex H16 instead.  There did seem to be a little bubble in
availability of those in the earl;y 80s.
