" Not that the MLA annual meeting schedule has a lot of holes in it"
So true. I've never had to plan to eat so many big breakfasts just to make it to the sessions/roundtables of interest. Thursday night seems to be the only real "hole" in the schedule as I know a lot of people (myself included) are attending the Dallas Symphony concert on Friday night.
I would also encourage people to attend the Archives Round Table meeting on Thursday. I'm not an archivist, but it's nice to sit at a table with like-minded people and talk about important issues for music archives. Plus, Matt and Rob do a great job of leading discussion!

Not that the MLA annual meeting schedule has a lot of holes in it, but I wonder if we couldn't arrange a time & place for ARSC members to meet? I bet there are quite a few of us who don't even realize who some of the other ARSC & MLA members are. I belong to ARSC but recorded sound collections are not my institution's top priority so I don't attend many ARSC conferences (alas!). But I am very interested, and would enjoy meeting ARSC & MLA members beyond the handful that I already know.
I co-chair the MLA Archives Round Table and we meet on Thursday from 12-1pm. If any ARSC members would like to join us we would love to have you.
Regards,
Rob
