I'm not sure exactly how confined the ragtime genre is, so this might be a wrong suggestion.
What about that guy who produced the medicine show music 2CD set, "Good For What Ails You"? There
were covers of several "songster" books shown, and I believe the captions indicated they were from
his personal collection. If this music is not strictly "ragtime," it's of the period and perhaps
could be adapted?
It's too bad similar organizations don't share music with you. How compeitive could this niche be? I
can't imagine anyone is sitting on a goldmine hit.

Yes, Vince was on my list as well as Michael Feinstein, who didn't think he had anything other than
an orchestration of "Swanee" that he acquired on eBay.
