That is exactly correct. I have never tried it, but supposedly baking
will melt acetate (aka "plastic" by 3M/Scotch) tapes. I did see the
results of an acetate tape that was stored behind a woodstove for two
Vermont winters...the edge facing the stove was melted together and the
tape tore once a revolution.
