Dear Kate,
Our department at Colgate University is using ContentDM to deliver EAD
finding aids. You can view the few guides we have here:
http://diglib.colgate.edu/cdm/search/collection/p15119coll1 In order to
upload the guides, we make the following changes to the EAD in the beginning
of <ead> and <eadheader>:
1. Change xsi:schemaLocation="urn:isbn:1-931666-22-9
http://www.loc.gov/ead/ead.xsd" to
xsi:schemaLocation=http://www.loc.gov/ead/ead.xsd
2. Remove xmlns="urn:isbn:1-931666-22-9"
3. Change langencoding="iso639-2b" to langencoding=”utf-8”
I made a couple changes to the default CDM stylesheet, but otherwise our
guides as displayed as CDM intended. CDM is not an ideal delivery platform
but it can be useful to those institutions that are already CDM users. Let
me know if I can be of further assistance.
Best,
Sarah
