CENDI Members,
As a courtesy to CENDI as a partner/member organization, ICSTI is providing this information. It looked to be an excellent workshop so you might find the presentations of interest. As we mentioned at our meeting last week, the CENDI/NFAIS Workshop for 2012 will also focus on scientific data management and we will be looking to complement the agenda of this and other data workshops that have occurred recently.

Dear ICSTI Member****
I'm sorry that not all ICSTI members were able to attend the Annual Members' Meeting and One-Day Workshop on 'Delivering Data in Science' that were held in Paris last week. If you were one of those who were unable to be there please note that we are making the presentations made by the 15 speakers at the Workshop publicly available. To access them go to the EVENTS page <http://www.icsti.org/spip.php?rubrique42> where you will also find a summary of the event written by two ICSTI members from the International Union of Crystallography. ****
You will also find of relevance and importance a number of the presentations made at the TACC meeting. These included insights and updates on initiatives from NISO, CrossRef, Microsoft and ISTIC all of which will be embedded as attachments in the Minutes of the TACC meeting which will be made available on the Members' only section of the website in a matter of days. So please look out for this.****
And may I also take this opportunity to encourage you to support and participate in the new project on 'Trust and Authority in Scholarly Communications' the proposal for which was developed by RIN and forwarded to you with a message from Brian Hitson. Please note the deadline for your response is 22 March.****
** **Best regards****
