A "sound track" is part of the film; "accompanying sound" is a broader
term including also sound on a separate medium such as (in days of
yore) cylinder, wire, disc, or tape. With current material, you are
unlikely to have anything other than sound tracks. Even the silent
film "The Artist" has a sound track for the music. Separate sound is
now sometimes seen with still images, such as filmstrips, but with
video recordings they they are becoming rare.
