Looking back through my purchasing invoices, the last time I bought some was October 2009. They were $.94 from El Mar Plastics. We bought 500 and, if memory serves, we wiped their inventory in one fell swoop.

I used to get mine from a box mfr in Opalaika, AL. They used to make them for Ampex. It's been some years, but they knew their stuff and didn't take the full retail markup.

Can anyone suggest a good vendor for plain white 10" reel boxes? I know about these from US Recording but there's got to be something cheaper. That's crazy.
