Thanks, Don,
Since I am attempting a discographic project involving a player that
was a member of the Thornhill band for a couple of years (among other
things), I am attempting to look at as many Thornhill recordings that
I can get my hands on or are adequately covered in existing
discographies. So, the Past Perfect, Hep and all other labels are of
interest to me in my search.
The tracks and timings are:
Stealin' apples - 3:13
Snowfall - 2:55
Where or when - 2:58
A Sunday kind of love (Fran Warren) - 3:21
Robbin's nest - 3:17
Yardbird suite - 3:18
Early autumn (Fran Warren) - 2:52
There's a small hotel (The Snowflakes) - 3:16
Arab dance - 4:21
Hungarian dance - 2:39
I knew you when (Buddy Hughes) - 3:18
Portrait of a guinea farm - 3:11
Anthropology - 3:01
Under the willow tree (Buddy Hughes) - 3:02
Let's call it a day - 3:13
Buster's last stand -2:51
As I said, there seem to be two or three recordings of the songs
listed in the reference works I have used, so timings may help zero in
a little.
Thanks again,
Peter
