I always thought it hysterically funny that Everest would reissue circa 1950 mono recordings from Oceanic as "Quad Compatible" in the 1970s, with whatever atrocious fake stereo they applied to the source materials. But then Everest made a cottage industry of messing up sound from other sources in the drive to apply "STEREO" to what were good quality recordings (not great, but good) out of the Cetra catalog.
