It is not such hard task to capture strange noises with digital sampling.
Ie, there is always 32 KHz noise signal captured from some oscilator circuit
of my Technics SP 15 turntable. It can be clearly seen in spectral view...

There's an urban legend going around which might be true that Stan Ricker
found he had recorded the tape recorder bias signal (over 100k) on a lacquer
disc. It was very quiet, but not silenced. That would approach DXD
bandwidth, albeit quietly...
