Currently our controlled headings (except for the creator) are in the bibliographic record only (where automated authority control can reach them). What makes this not too unfortunate is that our discovery layer searches both our bibliographic and our EAD records.
The only option for correcting headings in our EAD would be to correct them by hand. I'm hoping we can do something better in the future--such as place a controlled term its own record identifier in EAD so that EAD could be subject to automated authority control.

Subject: [EAD] LC name/subject updates in EAD
Hi all --
Just wondering, for those of you that use LCNAF and LCSH when creating EAD finding aids, how do you ensure that those names remain up to date over time, given that LC updates their name authorities and subject headings on a regular basis?
