Could you give more examples of the practical technical issues you
have in mind?
Full automation may be difficult to achieve in document
classification, for example, do you see mark up as an area PTJA would
cover? These were huge issues for corpus linguists 20 years ago (my
audience) and full resolution is still waiting.
