Impressive stuff! Personally, I like RRRecord's strategy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-record) when it comes to records that can no longer be played. Often times it ends up sounding better than the original songs! (At least, for the noise enthusiast, haha.) Plus there are what could possibly be referred to as 'practical' applications of non-playable/desirable records, e.g., making pottery out of them, but I do like those applications that end up with something different, but listenable (depending on one's tolerance).
