For an AMAZING sound from a 1933 Victor, check out the CD "20th Century
Time Capsule" which Vince Giordano produced in 1999 on Buddha. It is a
great look at the century, but first jump to track 7 Gold Digger's Song,
The (We're in the Money) - Leo Reisman & His Orchestra/Fred Astaire. It
is fantastic, especially the percussion. The CD also has the advantage
of a previously unissued take of Paul Whiteman's Charleston without the
strange Chinese scat.
