Have you done anything to tune the acoustics of the space? Any such work may well dictate the characteristics of the monitors that would serve you best. Monitors and acoustics are both integral components of the listening environment. The best monitors in the world can't overcome substandard acoustics. FWIW, I haven't used wither of the two you mention though I know different engineers that have used each without major complaints. In my studio I use Quested VS2108's and at work we use Genelec S30d's and I like them both but again, each in a space tuned and designed knowing what monitors would be used.

David
