I needed this because my Windows Explorer had gone corrupt.
When I installed xplorer2 it also installed the Conduit search engine and toolbar and changed all my favourite search engine settings to use Conduit - on *all* of my browsers. I was given no option - it just did it. It took me a wasted day to sort the mess out. So I am cautious about other so-called free apps. which may come loaded with adware or unwanted add-ons.
