Add to my list of pressing plants in addition to Allied in hollywood, Capitol had a west coast plant in the 60s on Fletcher drive in the Atwater area of Los Angeles. They were pressing Capitol and any one else who walked in the door.
Another in the same time frame was Budget in Burbank Ca. They were the cheapest in the area...... Al Sherman bought them out to press his 101 strings albums when he got the license from DL Miller.

Along the lines of record production in LA, is there a history of LA pressing plants? I'm especially interested in Allied and contemporary facilities in the 1930s & 50s.
