Yes, the Capitol facility on Melrose Avenue had once been NBC's
Hollywood facility. NBC later built a new "Radio City" complex in
Hollywood, which opened in 1937 and which eventually supplanted their
West Coast headquarters in San Francisco.
Capitol started in....1942, I believe, but I don't know what year they
took over Melrose.
