An interesting duplication of repertoire - the Masterworks Heritage series, which contained fewer than 50 items, did superb transfers on two Mahler 1sts - the Walter NY that you mentioned and the Mitropolous Minneapolis recording which is a marvellous revelation compared to the old 78s
