Free is the best price, if you can get it.
It seems wasteful to have to purchase a temporary donor cassette,
even one which can easily be opened, merely to use its shell so as to
be able to transfer (only once) another cassette which is broken.
Since it would be just as easy to remove the transfered tape from the
temporary cassette after digitization and return the good shell to
its rightful owner, I wonder if there are any screw-tape
"letters" (as in, those who have screw-tapes "to let")?
