Shai, I recommend using a standard spreadsheet program. It's a little
work to define columns for all the information you want to keep for each
item, but it maximizes flexibility (especially for a very diverse
collection) and the programs can be had at no cost. I have used this
free product personally and professionally for many years:

and use it to help generate web pages for access to the recordings
themselves.
