And, Dan, your e-mail came up in the TO field when I tried to reply, not the ARSCList (which I 
swapped in so this would go to the list).

I wonder if web-based e-mail clients are the problem?

BTW, it's not that big a deal to just swap in the listserv e-mail address, so this is not a 
"crisis," but it's strange computer behavior and it would be nice to know its cause and if it can be 
"cured."

i just went to reply to Joes post as shown below and my "earthlink" mail put joe in the reply to 
field automatically, not ARSC where it came from

Your post did not sound blamey. I just wanted to let folks know that I
am as mystified as anyone else. I do not see this behavior at my end
when replying.

I use Thunderbird. Maybe it is an earthlink thing?
