Mention of the 1944 stereo Karajan Bruckner 8th reminds me of, also 1944, also genuine stereo:
Beethoven: Concerto no. 5, "Emperor" -- Walter Gieseking/Berlin Reichsender Symphony Orchestra/Arthur Rother
First issued, perhaps, on Varese/Sarabande LP VC 81080. It's surely been out in many forms since. Again, genuine stereo, 1944.

I never heard or I don't own CD mentioned in link below, so I can not
confirm if it is fake or re-creation, "electronically processed" (or
something similar), but 1952. is early enough, I think.
