This is a dumb sub-thread. You say plainly that you have "no interest" in jazz. I'm sure there are plenty of jazz fans with "no interest" in classical music. I happen to have interest in both, so good to know of two online resources. My original point was concerning jazz discography, which perhaps wasn't made clear.
BTW, regarding classical catalogs, I put up a bunch of my scans on archive.org a while back. Mine that site and you can grab PDFs of Philips and Mercury catalogs that are either entirely classical or heavy on classical. You also might want to reach out to UC Santa Barbara, which has a massive archive of record-company catalogs and listings.
