Enormous amounts of LP data are available on CHARM, mainly from label
discographies compiled and kindly provided by Michael Gray.
Enormously detailed discographies of all British Decca classical recordings,
and of all recordings by the Academy of St Martin in the Fields and by the
London Symphony Orchestra, kindly provided by Philip Stuart, can be
downloaded complete.
You can download any results of CHARM (customizable) searches as a .csv
file.
All I can see on the Jazzdisco site is the facility to copy and paste from
sequences of html pages. But I may be missing something, as I have no
interest in this subject.
The comparison stands.
