Hi, Stephen,
Many years ago I was faced with a similar issue. I found someone in
Chinatown who had been importing them- one of the "everything chines under
the sun (yat sen?) stores. I bought some Chinese opera VHSs and LPs. Got
great information. They were delighted that someone was interested.

Subject: [ARSCLIST] Chinese Record Labels
Hello, folks:
Does anyone have any suggestions for where I can get discographical
information on Taiwanese (or Hong Kong) record labels?
My specific needs are to find out what's on the Queen Records
discography. A client has three 10" discs, catalog numbers QNL-1 065
and QNL 1001 & 1002, with only Chinese notation.
The other item is a 10" LP by the Lucky Trio on Universal Records.
Thanks!
Stephen
