I've various Phono-Cut records with Boston Symphony Orchestra members
soloing. It'll be a few weeks before I can follow up on this. Let me know
if others haven't come up with what you want before then.
The Celesta item is unknown to me.

Subject: [ARSCLIST] Query about two obscure labels
Esteemed fellow correspondents,
I'm posting this on behalf of a friend who is researching early 20th century
woodwind players. One, Georges Grisez, seems to have recorded clarinet
excerpts on the Phono-Cut label, c1913. The other is a 1926 recording of
clarinetist Gustave Langenus on a label called Celesta, the pieces recorded
on Cat. No. 101 are listed as "First Concertino (Guilhaud),
2 copies"
I'm hoping one of our antiquarians will have some more information or know
of extant copies somewhere. Many thanks for your assistance.
