If any of you consider yourselves to be experts, then please let me know
your ideas about this issue, which for years had not occurred until now.
Audio doesn't pass through (can't be monitored) when it's in 'standby' or
recording. The incoming signals register on the meters. But audio only
comes out when a file's being played. The recordings are fine. I've
scrutinized all of the tabs in 'preferences' and have not been able to
find any reference to this 'condition'.
My work station has two Card Deluxes. It doesn't matter which card is
assigned to S.F.
Also, I've got Audition installed. It operates properly with either card
assigned to it.
Rather than have redundant posts about this, I propose that you contact me
directly so that I'll be able to better manage the exchange of
information. I'll then combine the findings into one post and publish it
for all to see.
I want to avoid being charged by SONY 'against the clock'.
Perhaps I'm not googling with the correct jargon, but I can't find any
related postings on the web.
