Could we at least switch to "gender" instead of "sex". My email subjects look like something a 16 year old boy would write.

If something were resolved at the PCC policy level, then I would agree with Sharon. But as it stands, it is obvious that there is disagreement, and it is to be expected that people who have something to say about the issue should feel free to express it. And some excellent points have been made very recently, just a few minutes before Sharon's post. Anyone who has tired of the conversation is free to ignore it, just as they can ignore anything else they are not interested in.
