Ben,
There are several works that have only one CD issue but I would have to do a
correlation to give you a list. You might get Jim North's discography of the
BSO and check against that. It's not perfect reference but it's a good
start.
I have known Nate Brown since 1968. I have everything he has (Koussevitzky)
and more.
He sold many tape copies to Andrea Scarduelli (AS Disc, get it?) who then
issued dozens of CDs from the material. Lots of NY Phil, based on a
collection of CBS ETs that Brown once had.

Thank you, Mr. Mostyn,
That's a great list, and there are at least 1/3 I don't have.
Could you tell me if there are any pieces that only one label has reissued.
Do you know Nate Brown?
I've bought a few CDRs from him - probably things that no one else has.
He says that AS Discs got most of their stuff from him.
He's got quite a large collection of SK broadcasts and programs in his
archives.
He has other conductors as well.
Regards,
Ben Roth

Please see:
http://www.koussevitzky.com/Recordings/Koussevitzky-CD.doc
Caveats:
1. This is a list of commercially published CDs (not CDRs) in my personal
collection.
2. I have not as yet catalogued the last few years of new accessions in this
category.
3. I know several that I don't have, as they are duplicative and/or clones
of other issues.
4. I have not listed Pristine as they are CDRs, not CDs. Ditto the Japanese
CDRs. Russian MP3 discs may also be CDRs. I haven't bothered with them, as I
don't wish to encourage such blatant thievery. Is there no honor among
pirates?
If you or anyone would care to send to me the details of CDs not in this
list, I will aggregate them and post a complete list on the koussevitzky.com
website.

Subject: [ARSCLIST] Serge Koussevitzky re-issues
Hello all.
I collect all Serge Koussevitzky CD reissues whether "legal" or pirated.
I've got AS Discs which, I've heard, were taken from Nate Brown's
collection.
I have Dante Lis, Biddulph, Eklipse, Stradivarius, Music and Art, Iron
Needle, RCA Victor, Gemm/Pearl, Guild, Pristine, Dutton and some Russian MP3
releases.
I think that's all of them, but is there a compiled list of every SK CD ever
issued regardless of legal or not?
Regards,
Ben
