I'm very happy with my Prism Sound Orpheus AD/DA. 8 channels in, 8 
channels out. Firewire 400 connection to any computer. Two channels can 
double as both line input or phonograph/mic level input. Separate 
digital in/out on both S/PDIF and TOSLINK connections. All analog 
connections in/out are the combination 1/4" TRS/XLR combination 
connections.

I've had mine for I think six years and am very happy with both the ease 
of use and the very high quality conversion. Very transparent. Very
