Hi Steve:
THANKS for this information. The Marsh iBook is downloading to my iPad right now. I'll report back
later after I have time to check it out. The download seems to take some time, 10-20 minutes, so I'm
guessing it's got some interesting interactiveness or cool eye candy.

Subject: [ARSCLIST] Rest of my post re: 360 Sound ibook version FREE
My message went out before I could finish it. Here it is:
His reply:
>> Amazingly the ibook version of Marsh's book is FREE. i downloaded a the
sample and it's pretty cool as you see a spinning turntable and you have
to move the arm and set the needle on the record to play it.
>> However there are 2 reviews for the book-1 stating the inaccurate
labels posted on certain records-as on the late 50s-60s records, it's reported
that the 360 label doesn't appear with the record being played.
>> Still, the chance of getting the entire book with full audio for free
as an ibook is more than tempting
> i don't think so-i have a MAC and ibooks can't be read on a MAC-only on
IOS devices.
> yes the labels are all wrong-stuff from the late 50s has the old red
Columbia label. Even GYPSY has the old red label.
> You'd think they'd pay particular attention to this sort of thing.
> Funny, but the turntables change as they get more modern looking through
each decade.
I asked him how to find it and he replied:
“if you have an iPhone or ibook you have to get the BOOKS app and then
click on that which brings you to the book store-then do a search for the book
maybe it's also avail for the Nook or Kindle-haven't checked that yet”
