I have already programmed the RDA conversion program to re-punctuate century dates containing slashes (adding "century" where missing) and to supply "active" where missing. (Changing "3rd/4th cent." to "3rd century-4th century" without the "active" doesn't do the job well enough.) As anyone might expect, there were a handful of dates with slashes but not including century designations, which were corrected if the change was obvious, or referred upstairs for investigation.
I have likewise programmed the just-approved insertion of the missing era abbreviation in dates such as "43 B.C.-16 or 17 A.D."
