Perhaps I wasn't completely clear - 


First, I don't have a position in the analog/digital wars - In fact, I personally don't even own an analog system. I am happy with the digital one I have now that includes a Weiss DAC-2. (apologies for the commerical plug!) 


Second, and I'm afraid I wasn't absolutely clear, is that jitter degrades the quality of a PCM digital signal when it is subjected to D/A conversion. This has been well-established for decades, and, to use a recently employed phrase, is not "BS".
