You know,there is a lot of stuff that is probably considered "lost",be it on cylinder,wire recordings,or lacquer disc,that may be out there,but in the hands of private collectors,rather than in archives or librariesI know in my years of digging at thrift stores,flea markets,what have you,I have found the occasional unissued lacquer.Has any body ever thought of putting lists out there on the web,or in a news story of recordings thought to be lost,to see if somebody,anywhere in the world might have it?
