Assuming they are on OCLC, which many are not. We load to OCLC for
aggregators and publishers, but not for individual libraries.
Also, there is the matter of copy and volume holdings for both
monographs and serials. Utlas used to have that as you know from your
days in Canada, but holdings were lost when AG merged records.
In mentioning why we needed to keep records, I failed to mention
cumulating microform and print products.
