It's so funny you say that, because when I went to an intro session on RDA
earlier this week, that was indeed exactly my thought. The other thing they
mentioned was migrating MARC to some new thing called Bibliographic Framework
(http://bibframe.org) which apparently is, or will be, XML based.
Which of course leads me to wonder when the Library of Congress is going to
switch all its authority records over to EAC ;)
