I've done several experiments with auto-generating wiki contents, albeit
not with EAD, but the principles would be the same. One product of these
experiments was the wiki used by UCL's Transcribe Bentham project.

MediaWiki has an XML-based import/export format for page contents,
therefore it is a simple scripting matter to fill a basic template
creating one's own XML dumps and import them. I'm sure EAD2HTML
stylesheets/converters could be adapted for the purpose.
See: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Importing_XML_dumps
All the valid wiki markup in such imported pages is honoured, so
Categories, wiki links, etc, automagically appear.
It's fun when you get it to work, hope this whets someone's appetite to try.
