The NASA Technical Reports Server is apparently offline. The notice says they anticipate it returning in the "near future" http://ntrs.nasa.gov/
Rumor is that it will likely be down for quite some time but let's hope not as it will be a huge inconvenience to those of us who support scientists and engineers and have gotten rid of our print and microfiche collections in favor of this great electronic resource.
Perhaps a lesson for some of us as we face space crunches and have to consolidate our collections. Opting for digital access is nice but not without its downside. If the network is down or a site is taken offline for any reason our electronic world can leave us at a standstill but at least we have a great network out there and we can and do help each other as needed.
Keeping my fingers crossed that it will be back soon.
