Brian May of Queen collects early stereoscopic photographs, and in 2009 co-authored the book "A Village Lost and Found," an anthology of one photographer's work in a single English village in the 1850s.
Bobby Sherman has one of the more admirable life-after-rock stories. He became an emergency medical technician, or EMT, in California.

Not an after-rock story, but Geddy Lee, the bassist of Rush, is a huge baseball fan and very involved in fantasy leagues (just baseball, though).
During the intermissions of his band's three-hour shows, he checks up on his players' stats.
