My work stations use MSI ZH77A-G43 mother boards with Intel  I3 processors.  
The mb provides 3PCI slots and support + PCI2 &3 slots. 
Cost about  $120 at Frys electronics.

 One quick comment for anybody
 considering a new system to use with PCI
 hardware (not PCIe).
 There is only one chipset series that has native PCI
 support. All the
 others use a PCIe to PCI bridge to emulate a PCI port and
 this has VERY
 limited bandwidth.
 The chipsets you are looking for are the Q67 and Q77. These
 are
 specifically made to support native PCI hardware.
