Hi.
I don't have the animal 'song' you mention, but in my 40+ years of
collecting recorded songs and music about animals (in the broadest
interpretation) I have collected quite a number of recordings where
animal sounds (dogs, cats, cows, chickens, birds) are spliced into songs.
One of the earliest was the Don Charles recording (Don Charles may have
been a pseudonym) of dogs barking to the tune Jingle Bells. I think I
read somewhere that Ray Stevens might have been involved... And who can
forget the group Hen House Five Plus Too and their 'recordings' of
chicken clucks and cackles spliced into tunes such as old jazz band tune
"In The Mood" and the same group's takeoff on the first few lines of
"Also Sprach Zarathustra". These were done in the 1950s I think.
Much later a number of CDs were produced with animal voice sounds put
together into melodies: the Beastles; The Montreal Ornithological Choir;
Jingle Dogs; Jingle Cats, Jingle Bell Cows; the Pound Puppies; etc.

This was in the days before we had easy means to sample sounds, yet one tape featured a dog barking "Tea for Two." I have never encountered that recording again and wonder if the mention of it rings a bell with anyone. I still remember finding it very funny.
