The recording department at Drexel in Phila inherited much of Sigma's
studio. They have a working museum of machines and the unclaimed tapes from
Sigma's warehouse to use for instruction. I don't know if they rent time or
expertise, but it's worth a try.

It's going to depend on the format. I suspect there are several studios in
Chicagoland what will be able to play back 2" 24-track recordings. 2"
16-track may be a little trickier.
