Hi, Adam,
Thanks for alerting us to the fact that the juvenile headings for the Earth weren't revised when the "adult" LCSH headings were. It's a separate step to change the juvenile headings, and it got overlooked.
Have a good day,

Subject: [PCCLIST] Juvenile headings when LCSH is changed.
I am correct in observing that when an LC subject heading is changed, only the fields coded LCSH with that heading are getting changed in the LC catalog, and not also the fields coded as children's annotated card headings, even when the heading used there would be the same? As an example, the LCSH term Earth was recently changed to Earth (Planet). In OCLC I am seeing numerous LC records that have had the 651_ 0 field changed to the new form, but the fields coded 651 _1 are still just Earth.
There is no separate children's heading for this, so why aren't these fields also being changed?
Thanks,
Adam
