It is important to note that this is actually a well-designed mobile
website, not an app. You will need to bookmark it on your mobile device.

GPO RELEASES CONGRESSIONAL MEMBER GUIDE APP
WASHINGTON - The U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) has released the
Mobile Member Guide app for the 113th Congress. The mobile Web app provides
the public with quick, easy access to information on Members of the 113th
Congress; the features include their picture, party affiliation, hometown,
home state, and length of service. The app allows users to browse for
Members of Congress by last name, state, chamber, or party. The public can
take advantage of this free mobile Web app on major mobile device platforms.
The app parallels GPO's release this week of the Pictorial Directory for the
113th Congress, which is widely used on Capitol Hill. Additional features
to the Mobile Member Guide app will be added following the release of the
Congressional Directory for the 113th Congress later this fall.

"This app is a great digital tool for the public to use to learn more about
their elected representatives," said Public Printer Davita Vance-Cooks. "GPO
is committed to its role of serving as the official, digital, secure
provider of the Federal Government's information products and services. As
Congress and the public ask for more Government information to be accessible
in digital and mobile formats, GPO will continue to meet those expectations.
"
The print version of the Pictorial Directory for the 113th Congress is
available through GPO's online bookstore:

The Mobile Member Guide for the 113th Congress is the newest addition to the
growing profile of apps developed by GPO. The agency started developing
mobile Web apps in 2011 with the Mobile Member Guide for the 112th Congress
and then went on to develop more apps including, the FY 2013 and FY 2014
Budget of the U.S. Government apps, the Presidential Documents app, the Plum
Book app, and GPO supported the Library of Congress in developing the
Congressional Record app.
GPO is the Federal Government's official, digital, secure resource for
producing, procuring, cataloging, indexing, authenticating, disseminating,
and preserving the official information products of the U.S. Government. The
GPO is responsible for the production and distribution of information
products and services for all three branches of the Federal Government,
including U.S. passports for the Department of State as well as the official
publications of Congress, the White House, and other Federal agencies in
digital and print formats. GPO provides for permanent public access to
Federal Government information at no charge through our Federal Digital
System (www.fdsys.gov), partnerships with approximately 1,200 libraries
nationwide participating in the Federal Depository Library Program, and our
secure online bookstore. For more information, please visit www.gpo.gov.
