Indeed, there is. See RDA 9.6.1.7 which says "For a fictitious or
legendary person, record Fictitious character, Legendary character, or
another appropriate designation." The RDA element in question is named
Other Designation Associated with the Person, so this designation is
recorded in MARC 368 $c. It is not a profession or occupation, so 374 is
not appropriate.
Since PCC policy is to prefer controlled vocabulary in most of the 3XX
attribute fields, most catalogers are using the LCSH term "Fictitious
characters":
