I neglected to finish my second sentence. It was supposed to say:
Follow "LC/PCC Practice for Creating NARs for Persons who use Pseudonyms"

Subject: Re: Composite identities/pseudonyms in RDA?
The relationship of the pen name to the actual persons would be given in the
name authority records, not the bibliographic record. Follow
There should just be a 100 for the pseudonymous author of the work in the
bibliographic record. No 700s for the real identities.
To break the conflict in the 100 you have a variety of choices. Period of
activity or profession/occupation are preferred over Other Designation
Associated with the Person (see 9.6.1.9 and 9.19.1.7).
In terms of the access point "Johnson, Lloyd, $c author of The beginner's guide
to growing marijuana" is not correctly formulated. What goes in $c is put in
parentheses and the first word would be capitalized:
Johnson, Lloyd $c (Author of The beginner's guide to growing marijuana)
However, I would try to supply a period of activity or profession/occupation
instead, e.g.:
Johnson, Lloyd, $d active ____
Johnson, Lloyd $c (Marijuana farmer) ;)
