Hi, Steve,
You might check the Lib. of Congress Authority files (http://authorities.loc.gov/) for one idea. (Search name authority, last name first, then click on link to your match for full authority record. info. at the bottom of record.)
Best,
Wendy

Subject: [ARSCLIST] Musician's Birth and death dates
Where di I find birth and death dates on line for obscure conductors? Excluding Wiki.
A few examples:
Philippe Flon, listed as born both 1854 and 1861. Anyone know if made recordings other than on Mapleson cylinders?
J. Louis van den Meden
Bainbridge Robinson
Lilian Bryant
Thanks,
Steve Smolian
